Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 4, 2026

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MoreThanMe website and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using this Platform, including viewing our work, submitting forms or making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MoreThanMe is a student-led initiative from Rishihood University. We are not a bank or financial institution. The Platform is intended to coordinate volunteering efforts and facilitate donations to support our social initiatives.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use this Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Platform. In particular, you agree that you will not:

  • Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the website or circumvent security features.
  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information in any form (including donation details or contact requests).
  • Use the Platform to send spam, abusive messages or harmful content.

3. Donations

When you choose to support MoreThanMe financially, you do so voluntarily to further our social initiatives. By submitting a donation:

  • You confirm that the funds you donate are your own or that you are authorised to donate them.
  • You understand that most donations are made via UPI or bank transfer directly to the account shown on our website.
  • You agree to provide accurate transaction details (such as UPI reference ID and amount) when submitting your donation for acknowledgement and transparency.

Donations are generally non-refundable, except in the limited situations described in our Refund Policy. Making a donation does not create any ownership, partnership or employment relationship between you and MoreThanMe.

4. Payment processing

All monetary transactions are processed by external providers, such as banks and UPI apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM and others). We do not store your card numbers, UPI PINs, internet banking passwords or similar sensitive details on this Platform.

By making a donation, you also agree to the terms and privacy policies of the respective bank or payment service you use.

5. Content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the text, images, graphics and other content on this website are owned by MoreThanMe or used with permission. You may:

  • View, share or link to our public content for personal, informational or non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell or exploit any content from this Platform for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer

While we try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or the completeness of any content.

We do not provide financial, legal or tax advice. If you require such advice in relation to your donation, please consult a qualified professional.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoreThanMe, its student volunteers and collaborators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this Platform or your donation, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Platform or a donation, if any, shall be limited to the amount of the donation actually received from you in connection with that claim.

8. Privacy

Your use of this Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully alongside these Terms.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. By continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
